Our next Whitsunday Black Coffee is being held on Monday 18th October 2021 with special guest Nicole Riksman. Nicole is a tourism product development specialist with DR Tourism.
Nicole recently moved to Airlie Beach to work on an Industry Development Project within the Whitsunday region. She is employed by DR Tourism, a tourism consultancy firm that was engaged by Tourism Whitsundays to lead a 12 month project, focusing on a range of initiatives such as Product, Experience and Customer Service Development. With over 12 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry, Nicole is hoping to learn and connect with local Indigenous communities, recognising there is an inherent gap for indigenous experiences in the Whitsunday region despite tourism being the dominant sector in the community. Nicole is eager to understand the history, challenges and opportunities for the region and how she can support in any way through the project initiatives.
Due to COVID restrictions can you please RSVP to deadlyweavers@deadlyweavers@gmail.com or 3littlebirdsespresso@gmail.com by Thursday 14th October 2021.
